The cast

We’re a family of four from Australia. We’re making a trip around the world in 2011. This blog is a place for me to keep our plans, links to places to stay, and links to other useful blogs. The cast:

Jennifer: I’m currently the employed person in the family. I work at the moment as an actuary in Sydney. I’m taking leave without pay next year.

Aptenodyte (also known as Evan):  Father, tech support, home manager, and organiser. Blogging about our tech here.

Callum: Aged 9.  A voracious reader, and aspiring geek, who wants to be an inventor when he grows up, but spends most of his spare time playing computer games when we let him.

Declan: Aged 7. Likes pasta, pizza and icecream. Loves dinosaurs, and live animals, and making things. Loves to climb every possible place wherever we go. Wants to be an archeologist, and then a designer when he grows up.
